What is the Road Safe Series?

The Road Safe Series is a series of integrated programmes developed by the New Zealand Police to teach road safety skills to primary and secondary school children.

The programmes are designed to be taught by classroom teachers in partnership with Police education officers.

The purpose of the Road Safe Series is to help young people learn appropriate road safety skills at each year of their schooling, and to give them opportunities to practice and reinforce these skills.

The Road Safe Series is a key resource in the RoadSense strategy.
