Land Transport New Zealand has published several brochures which contain useful road safety information for schools and parents. They include:

Being Roadsmart for School

This brochure contains simple suggestions on ways that parents can help their children stay safe while walking to school, traveling in cars and buses and riding their bikes.

Safety and the School Bus

This brochure includes information for children about the safest ways to get on and off a bus, and advice on how to stay safe while traveling. It also has includes information for adults on ways to keep their children safe while walking to and waiting for the bus.
